Many people may be educated, but not well-mannered.
Manners play a big part in what defines you as a person, not the quantity of money you have, or the outfits you wear, which is why it is very crucial to maintain good manners. Manners are also a large portion of what distinguishes a civilized from an uncivilized society.

It is vital to show good manners and respect in public, because of its sheer infectiousness, it will lead to others returning that respect and kindness towards you. Well-mannered people are also known to possess good habits. A simple smile or saying “thank you” costs nothing, but are good starts to personal growth. Although having good manners go beyond just saying a few words, it can nevertheless act as a starting point for those who wish to have a strong foundation and build a good character as they grow older. It doesn’t just make our social life much more pleasant, but it is also a very critical part of our religion. Many examples can be found in the Quran and Hadiths such as “don’t lie”, “don’t waste food”, “to be humble”, and much more. Which makes it our duty to practice these good manners in our everyday lives. Respect is another big part of being well-mannered. It is very important to note that once you begin to act respectful towards others, they will start to respect you back. As a student, respect is practically required of you. Practicing good manners and being courteous around the school is the key to being respected by teachers and fellow students. In short, manners are necessary for our social life, our faith, and our school. If someone wishes to achieve success, it is by good manners that almost every success can be achieved in this life.
