How are classrooms changing with the advancement of technology?

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is no longer confined to sci-fi movies. With the creation of GPT-4, we can now communicate with artificial intelligence and prompt it to answer almost any question we have. Whether it's a math problem or the theme behind a certain text, GPT-4 has the answer. Its power extends beyond answering questions; it can proofread essays in seconds, saving time and improving efficiency. However, this is not the only tool available for today's students.

Virtual and Augmented reality have also seen rapid development recently. Now, students can virtually visit the pyramids of Giza using virtual reality to conduct research for their geography assignment or read textbooks using augmented reality, making the use of virtual resources much more seamless.

Another technology improving seamlessness is web-based collaboration platforms that allow us to work together from anywhere. These apps and websites enable us to team up, share ideas, and create projects without being in the same room.

The use of these technologies is not limited to students. Teachers can now access artificial intelligence, web-based services, virtual reality, and augmented reality to help educate stedents. For instance, artificial intelligence can be used to create detailed lesson plans for the entire school year, saving teachers time that could be used to further educate their students.

These new technologies are here to stay, but that doesn't mean they will replace traditional teaching. They are simply supplements that greatly improve the efficiency and productivity of our current education system.
