Art Exhibition - Manarat al Riyadh

On the 17th of February, Manarat al Riyadh International School held an art exhibition with the hopes of enabling students to set forth their talents. Such activities are quite necessary for youngsters, and the management has shown a job well done by handing such opportunities to the students. There were absolutely no barriers for the entries: whether it be the form of artwork you submit or your grade. The submissions were, without a doubt, outstanding and the competition fierce, with each piece having its own unique qualities.

Student Artwork

With this new event, we have seen students put their hearts and souls into their masterpieces. Moreover, the set-up and décor were very intricate and seized the attention of those passing by including myself. Taking a closer look at the art, it can be concluded that not everyone trails after the same idea, and that is what makes such events sensational. I think we can agree that talent was seen seeping out of these pieces and we hope to encounter similar enthusiasm for further events as well.

It is really exciting just thinking about how certain colours and a canvas can help our young artists portray their ideas. The participation was over the top and it was heart-warming to witness the time and effort that was put into the work. Furthermore, by the looks of it, it seems like picking winners would be a sweat-breaking activity for our judges. However, one should not always be thinking about being triumphant and the prices you may receive but rather about the experience gained which can help you strive forwards in multiple ways.

Recent news that students have received states that the outstanding artworks will be displayed at the Granada Towers between the 29th and 31st of March. (a multi-school competition). This announcement has surely delighted many as a new chance has opened up to showcase their talent.

Over the years, Manarat has introduced new opportunities to its pupils which have always proved beneficial. "My experience was incredible.

I was really impressed by how students were allowed to express themselves through art.

It was marvellous how students went outside the box and put so much effort into each of the pieces.

Personally, I was very much delighted with the fact that I was a student who had taken the golden opportunity to enjoy the art exhibition.

It was an absolutely magnificent event, I would definitely suggest that students are given more of such platforms to bring out their inner talents and gain recognition."

This event has proved quite useful for those with a passion for artisanship as being able to present your work to those around you can help boost

confidence and overall performance. Participants are now hopeful for a similar event somewhere in the

near future. If you are searching for a method to improve your art skills, taking part in such activities might just be the solution.

With great support from the school and the exhibition's management team, students have shown great interest and it is anticipated that it stays this way. Whilst patiently waiting for the results of the competition, take a moment to reflect on the effort you undertook creating your artwork. Best of luck!
