THE STREET LAWYER REVIEW

SUMMARY:

One day, Micheal Brock, a lawyer at an established law firm, had his whole life turn upside down. A homeless man named Mister entered the firm equipped with a gun and homemade explosives. He took 9 hostages, one of them being Micheal. Mister begins lecturing them about how greedy they are for not caring for the poor. This intense experience left Micheal extremely anxious. He took it upon himself to look into what Mister was talking about. Eventually, he finds an illegal eviction that evicted multiple individuals without proper procedure. Around the same time, a homeless family, that happens to be one of the many that got evicted, is found dead in their car during a snowstorm. Micheal decided to avenge this family and left his wealthy corporate job to join a small public interest law firm.

The rest of the story goes on to explain how he tracks down witnesses to help fight his case.

REVIEW:

I really enjoyed the book. It shed the light on the countless struggles homeless people go through and how vicious the world could be. However, all that negativity is balanced out by the main character and his team trying to fight evil and avenge the dead family. But nonetheless, the main character has to deal with his own personal problems.

RATING:

9/10

Everything about the book was amazing. However, the “thriller” element went missing for a couple of the chapters making them very long and boring. But at the end, it was worth it.
