An unmanned aerial vehicle, commonly known as the drone is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers. In other words, it's like a flying robot that can be controlled remotely using computer technology.
When it comes to flying the drone, a few things come into play. Drones require a controller which enables the operator to launch, navigate, and land the aircraft. Connectivity plays an important role when it comes to flying drones. This is usually done with radio waves, such as Wi-Fi
Like everything, drone technology has pros and cons. Some of the pros include: drones are enjoyable to fly; they can fly to areas that would have been tough or impossible to access either on foot or by any type of vehicle; drones can serve as useful tools for businesses and organizations as for example, shots taken by drones can help real estate agents gain traction for the properties they are selling; drones are capable of capturing incredible videos in the hands of an experienced pilot. In contrast to the pros, there are some cons to drones. Drones can cause damage to buildings and injury to people, and this has a host of reasons like loss of signal from the controller or bird attacks; the complex drone technology remain very expensive as this type of device is still developing and it's not within the budget of the organizations and civilians.
